His tune "Get Get Down" became an international house hit, sustaining airplay for several years in clubs and was a top 5 hit in the UK Singles Chart. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in December 1999, and remained on the survey for 18 weeks. Johnson started the Chicago house label Dust Traxx, and has worked with Robert Armani under the name Traxmen and with Gant Garrard as Brother 2 Brother. His 2004 track, "Follow This Beat", hit #8 on the US Dance chart. Recently, He has quoted sales of over 3 million units for his "Get Down" single & with new sales daily, it doesn't seem likely to slow down any time soon.

::: J PAUL GETTO ::: Boston, MA ::: X Mix Productions ::: Funky House

Each with years of previous production experience, J Paul Getto was formed in September 2010 with the help of Neil Petricone (X-Mix Productions) and they've been breaking ladies’ hearts ever since. With a truly unique style in today's disco house scene, the duo expertly sample classic disco elements by integrating them into their work and creating a full and overwhelming atmosphere that is to be felt as much as it is to be heard. Excitement, euphoria and an uncontrollable urge to dance; these are all normal feelings you will encounter the second you hear a J Paul Getto track. With a sound as big as this, the international scene is left begging for each new release from this duo. Tony Saputo is from Palermo (Italy), Maurice is from Central California and they're now based in Boston.

::: GENE FARRIS ::: Chicago, IL ::: Farris Wheel, Cajual ::: House

What defines a Dance Music Legend? Over 100 productions, six albums, on labels
including Defected, CR2, Soma, Cajual, and his own Farriswheel Recordings? Djing in over 30 countries, playing in all the hottest clubs all over the world for over a decade, from Ibiza's "Space", Cielo New York, or Residenting at North America's longest running dance night; Chicago's "Boom Boom Room”? Gene Farris is considered all over the world by dance music fans, producers, and Djs as a Dance Music legend.

::: JOSHUA IZ ::: Chicago, IL ::: Vizual, Om ::: Deep House

Joshua (Iz) Michaels was born on a 120 º (40º C) day in 1969. Taking piano lessons from age five, he quit at age eight so as to be able to play football and get into trouble with all of the other neighborhood kids, although he always kept playing. Giving up a full time job opportunity at Wired Magazine, Joshua moved in with the Red Nail posse (Derrick, Mark Farina, G-Most and Chris Nazuka), with the illusionary Chez being another semi-permanent resident. He began making music for Blue Cucaracha, Prescription and its offshoot Balance, as well as spinning regularly at seminal Chicago venues. He also worked as design director at Cajual Records with Cajmere, designing most of the labels and cover art during the glory days of 1995-96. With well over 100 releases bearing his name, Joshua’s production and remix work is respected and in demand worldwide. Recently, he has recorded projects and remixes for labels such as Columbia/Sony, Junior Boys Own, Ubiquity, OM, Classic, Developed, Nightshift, Seasons and NRK among many others.
Building on this success, Joshua has finally started his own imprint: Vizual.Over the last five years, Joshua has been playing more with his partner Diz, supporting their releases on Classic, Tweekin', Aesoteric, Silver Network and Seasons, now playing regularly at Fabric (London), the Sub Club in Glasgow, the Rex in Paris, New Zealand as well as various other locales around the globe.

::: TERRY MULLAN ::: Pheonix, AZ ::: Catalyst, Definitive Recordings ::: Funky House

Terry Mullan, turntablist extraordinaire, turns out dance floors week after week throughout the US and abroad. His credits include Twilo, 1015 Folsom, Sona, Bugged Out, The End, Pure, The Queen amongst raves as far off as Japan, Australia and Germany. He has developed a faithful following to those who know through his signature style of funky quirky jacking acid house combined with cutting and scratching making up an entirely new genre all his own. Soon after gaining inspiration from the Chicago air personalities like Ron Hardy, Farley “jack master” Funk, Mike “hitman” Wilson via 102.7 WBMX, Terry made house his home. Never one to follow the masses, he borrowed from each genre to create what we all know to be Terry’s sound, putting a bad ass twist on an otherwise conservative house scene. With the development of his own label Catalyst Recordings, Terry took things to the next level. Through his label he released projects for the likes of DJ Sneak and Ian Pooley, as well as for himself under Speakerphreaker. Additionally, Terry gained notoriety for his track under the moniker “Serotonin project” which was featured on the Chemical Brothers mix album entitled “Brothers gonna work it out”.

::: BRYAN JONES ::: Chicago, IL / Detroit, MI ::: Control, Om, Ultra Records ::: Jackin House

Bryan Jones is currently one of Chicago’s busiest and highest selling house producers releasing over 100 of his songs on labels all over the world dating back to 2002. His songs have been played by the biggest djs in the world like Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Sneak, Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyke, and many, many more. His songs have also been licensed to Ministry Of Sound, Playboy, OM Records, and others. Between his solo productions and releases with Mike Gillenwater as “High Caliber”, Bryan has sold over 50,000 vinyl units worldwide and the number grows every day. Bryan’s dj mixes have been heard by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world over the years at live shows and by means of tapes, cds, and online mixes. His dj skills have recently landed him bookings all over the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Bryans many styles allow him to adapt to any dancefloor without ever disappointing. He has played everywhere from underground deep house clubs to big room all ages events, and his experience shows in every one of his dj sets.

::: WATTIE GREEN ::: Nashville, TN ::: Coyote Cuts, APT ::: Swing House

Hailing from the backwoods of Tennessee, Wattie Green went from unknown to one of the most recognized names in House Music, virtually overnight. DJing since 99 and only producing since 2004, this spelunking, multi-instrument playing, swing house producing phenom drops bombs where ever he goes! Wattie’s vinyl and digital releases on Flapjack, Spatula City, Juiced, Knocturnal Emissions, Serial Sickness, Funk Mansion continually top the charts of Stompy and Traxsource. In the new year Wattie has really took off with dates all over the US and his brand new label project with partner Hugh Cleal called Coyote Cuts which will feature limited edition 12" vinyl that turned digital to make an impact as they hold releases in the Top 10's each week! Come check out how he has redefined the swing house sound with his sophisticated nuskool jackin feel.

::: HUGH CLEAL ::: Detroit, MI ::: Coyote Cuts, APT ::: House

Detroit native Hugh Cleal has always kept music close to his heart. Coming from a family of musicians, he picked up the violin and played in a concert orchestra through grade school. He also took part in theatrical plays where he began to sing and act. It was during this time Hugh realized that music and the arts were going to be his life. In the mid 90’s, Hugh was swept away by the Detroit underground music scene.. He founded /sin-de-kat/ productions in 1996 and produced events that debuted acts such as Deep Dish, Carl Cox, King Britt, Q-Bert, The Pharcyde, Little Louis Vega, Ron Trent, and Funkmaster Flex to name a few. Hugh quickly gained the respect of his peers with his warehouse parties series in Detroit and was offered a position at Motor Lounge which hosted just about everyone over its 10 year lifespan. After a long hiatus Hugh's desire to push the envelope has led him back into music and with a little equipment and lot of effort he has come out of the gates running with numerous releases out since his production debut in 2010. In a short time he has already been featured on Open Bar Music, Juiced Music, Exchange Bureau, Full Flavor, Deep Hype Sounds, Ospina Digital, and Selektor Music with much more in the works. Most recently Hugh is launching a 12" record label with partner Wattie Green called Coyote Cuts in May 2011.
