Rarely have we seen someone rise through the ranks as quickly as 23 year old Boris Daenen, a.k.a Netsky. Having a Belgian passport doesn’t often turn D B heads, so you can be sure it’s his tunes which do the talking! Having secured releases on some of the biggest labels in the scene, gained DJ support from the likes of Friction, Hype, Fabio and London Elektricity, the young Belgian from Edegem near Antwerp earned a nomination as “Best Upcoming Producer” at the Drum Bass Arena Awards in 2008 and fulfilled this ambition two years on with is “Best Newcomer Producer” award in 2010.

The name High Contrast needs no introduction any more... though when a young, fresh-faced Lincoln Barrett signed on the dotted line back in 2000 he was a complete unknown. Austrian duo Reinhard Rietsch and Markus Wagner, otherwise known as Camo & Krooked have quickly become one of the hottest production outfits in Europe. Working together since 2007 they were soon being hailed as “one of the biggest talents in Drum Bass” by the mighty Grooverider and have gone on to fulfil this accolade since signing to Hospital Records in 2010, winning not one, not two, but three awards in the Drum & Bass Arena Awards 2011 for "Best Producer", "Best Video" and "Best Album".

Vitalic is the alter ego of Pascal Arbez, a French programmer/multi-instrumentalist who blends electro, techno, and house -- as well as elements of classical, rock, Italo-disco, and '70s electronic music -- into a sound that recalls the work of fellow countrymen Daft Punk and Air, but has its own hard-edged playfulness. Arbez played trombone as a child and young adult, but became fascinated with dance music when he heard Daft Punk in the mid-'90s. Inspired by them as well as Giorgio Moroder, Arbez switched to analog synths and began writing and recording as Dima. He released his first 12" in 1996 on Citizen Records, a label started by Arbez and likeminded friends. Arbez used the Dima moniker (as well as the alias Hustler Pornstar) until 2000, when he switched to the name Vitalic.
