TOGETHER TO HOST WEEKLY NIGHT AT AMNESIA IBIZA
Together has always held an esteemed reputation, for bringing together the world’s greatest DJs and live electronic acts. Last summer’s irrepressible Amnesia debut under the ‘Tonight’ pseudonym only served to enhance this standing! A savvy crowd that always rocks the party, Together’s dedicated following ensured 2011 was our most successful year to date.
London iconic South West Four festival witnessed the Together arena rammed with five thousand joyous clubbers revelling to the diverse sounds of Richie Hawtin, Sub Focus, Andy C and Modeselektor. Attracted by an open minded music policy and carnival atmosphere, this party prophecy seemed too large to suppress. So it proved three months later, hosting the globally acclaimed Together Winter Music Festival at the magnificent Alexandra Palace. As the biggest indoor festival hosted in the UK last year, the event witnessed over twenty thousand people unite for a lavish line-up, with clubbers coming together from all corners of the globe. So think mandatory massive crowds and cutting edge artists. An ethos shared together with Amnesia, a venue steeped in history and those defining summer moments. Together 2012 guarantees even more.
As two of dance music’s most sought after DJs and producers, Chase & Status bring their acclaimed show to Together this summer. The esteemed duo’s mindblowing performances captured the imagination of Amnesia last summer and they are back to deliver further doses of dancefloor devastation. Arguably the most talked about artist in electronic music we are delighted to welcome Skrillex. He arrives at Amnesia off the back of winning three Grammys at this years Award ceremony and as the highest new entry in DJ Magazine’s influential Top 100 poll. Following last year’s memorable Amnesia residency and incredible EPIC shows at Global Gathering and Alexandra Palace, Eric Prydz returns to Together as one of the premiere artists in electronic music. A comeback is also in order from Annie Mac who returns to enchant Eivissa once more. As the undisputed queen of dance, her flagship BBC Radio 1 show now dominates Friday nights. Then there’s the big bass of Knife Party and the delectable dubstep/drum and bass combo of Nero, Sub Focus and Pendulum (DJ set).
In addition to our unparalleled resident DJ roster, we also welcome to Amnesia an outstanding selection of very special guest DJs and live acts. One third of the Swedish House Mafia, Axwell is joined by prime international house and electro talent including Afrojack, Simian Mobile Disco, A-Trak, Bloody Beetroots, Crookers, Jacques Le Cont, Jack Beats, Steve Aoki, Brodinski, SebastiAn, Feed Me, Jack Beats, Gesaffelstein, Thomas Gold, Yall, Jeremy Olander, The Zombie Kids and Mar-T. Dubstep and drum & bass kings Flux Pavilion, Shy FX and Borgore will also be present, along with Zane Lowe, Mistajam, Breakage, Redlight plus many more guests to be announced.
Direct from Miami to Ibiza, two exclusive White Isle performances from the Brit and MOBO Award winning Tinie Tempah. He will play live, as will Ms Dynamite, whilst a very special Ibiza debut comes courtesy of legendary hip hop band Public Enemy. 2012 marks the 25th Anniversary since the release of their epic debut album ‘Yo Bum Rush The Show’, with their electrifying Amnesia performance set to go down as one of the standout moments of this year’s season.
In addition to some of the biggest lineups seen in Ibiza this summer, Together will also present room takeovers from the world’s leading club nights. Having hosted two mammoth events over the winter months at London’s legendary Alexandra Palace and O₂ Academy Brixton, Bass Culture debuts on the White Isle this year, as they assist in showcasing the biggest bass acts on the planet. Annie Mac Presents... returns following the phenomenal success of last year’s Amnesia parties, a series of sell out shows at Koko in London and an arena at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. With label showcases also coming courtesy of Axtone and Jacked completing a tantalising roster showcasing huge basslines and dirty beats, Together at Amnesia is a must on the Ibiza ‘to do’ list.
