In Tawel Balak we follow the funny yet intriguing journey of Abou Haysam a university graduate Egyptian national with 15 years of experience (or as he pronounces it exberince) as a civil engineer. Extenuating circumstances force him to immigrate to Canada in pursuit of a better life for himself and his family. Despite being treated unfairly Abou Haysam remains humble, cheerful and full of life.
Tawel Balak weaves a story which explores themes of respect, integrity, perseverance and cultural differences. All this is done within the genre of comedy!
