To kick off 2013, the DJ/Producer, Steve Aoki is nominated for the 2013 Grammy: Best Dance/Electronica Album with his latest album, “Wonderland.”
Founded in 1996, his label, Dim Mak Records, has released over 250 records with music by electro house artists such as Datsik, Infected Mushroom, Dada Life, Zeds Dead, his own collaboration with Tiesto, MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, Felix Cartal and Mustard Pimp, as well as by Bloc Party, Battles, The Kills, The Gossip, Klaxons, Scanners, Whitey, and Mystery Jets to name a few.
Aoki’s Grammy nominated solo album, “Wonderland” was released January 2012 and features guest vocalists and musicians LMFAO, Kid Cudi, Travis Barker, Will.I.AM aka Zuper Blahq, Wynter Gordon, Rivers Cuomo, Lil Jon, Chiddy Bang, Lovefoxxx of CSS, Big John former guitarist of the punk band The Exploited, and others.
Performing an average of 250 shows a year, he has recently started touring with production via bus tours like the spring 2012 Deadmeat Tour he headlined over 55 cities in 60 dates across the United States and Canada.
In July 2012, Aoki was added to the Pollstar Top 100 North American Tours in their 2012 Mid Year Report.
The list designated Aoki as the highest grossing dance artist in North America for the first half of the year.

Salva's work promotes complexity through a synthesis of contrasting styles, showcasing dips into house motifs, grooves in smooth boogie funk, and massive roiling bass waves that has garnered support from the likes of Pitchfork, FADER, FACT, BBC's Benji B and Skream & Benga, A-Trak, Low End Theory, Snoop Dogg, Diplo, Dâm-Funk, Night Slugs, and many others.
