Circus Afterhours - One of two after-hour clubs in downtown Montreal, Circus attracts a younger, more fashionable clientèle, à la muscle boy and pin-up girl, which can be either an asset ort a turn-ff, depending on one’s tastes. The décor is reminiscent of an old New York style loft, with some of the most comfortable couches in town scattered throughout the nightspot. Of course, this signifies that the ambiance is geared for the all-night party under the big top, with house and hip-hop taking center stage, in separate rooms, with electro and techno events also taking place on a regular basis. Although international DJ names do occasionally appear at Circus, some of the best locals reside here, such as King Louis, Franco Fabi, and Stéfane Lippé. Since Circus is an after-club, no alcohol is served, making it easier for the trip to the next day!
