The best filthy spot to see a hard core rock show. The Middle East has long been a haven for the local, up-and-coming and haven’t forgotten their roots rock bands. Upstairs, there is a restaurant of decent Middle Eastern fare, that seems an oasis away from the two rock clubs… the little upstairs and “roomy” basement style downstairs. Jump up and down rock stars be warned: more than a few flailing stars have bashed their heads on the low overhead getting wild on this stage. Rock isn’t the only music played here, as a variety of tunes can be seen being moshed to at the Middle East. Busy nearly every night of the week, it’s always a good time to go out and see a relatively cheap show here.
