Set in downtown Tuscaloosa, Brown’s Corner Bar & Grill is a full-service restaurant and the premier night spot for everyone in town looking for excitement.

Built in 1926, the location originally was Brown’s Dollar Store, one of the most popular stores when downtown Tuscaloosa was at its peak. Abe Brown, who emigrated from Russia in the late 1800s, started out peddling merchandise on a wagon before opening Brown’s on the corner of University Boulevard and Greensboro Avenue.

The building was then vacant for nearly 60 years until it was renovated in the 80's and turned into a brewery. The brewery, however did not last very long and has been occupied by several resturants and bars until the newest owners decided to open up Brown's Corner Bar & Grill, a great full service restaurant until 10:00pm, which then turns into the premiere night spot in Tuscaloosa at 10:30pm.
