The first Pacha nightclub opened on July 22, 1967 in Sitges hands of Ricardo Urgell, a 29-year-old opened the store with his brother to help his family. Although its beginnings were difficult, the club won fame and clientele thanks to tourism development which reached the area of the Mediterranean coast late 1960.1

However, the brand gained international fame not until July 3, 1973, when his business expanded Urgell Ibiza. The entrepreneur built premises on the outskirts of the city that kept appearance Ibizan farmhouse, and was the first of the many nightclubs on the island installed. From his presence on the island, Pasha takes as its main distinctive corporate image of cherries or a specialization in house and electronic music, making contacts and contracts with renowned DJs.

Throughout its history the place has had several expansions, and functions as macrodiscoteca since 1993, when its capacity was increased to 3,500 people with several different rooms and parties like Ministry of Sound or Fuck Me I'm Famous (David Guetta) . Thanks to the fame acquired, the business has expanded to other Spanish cities and made the leap abroad with presence in Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Austria, Germany, England, Lithuania, Russia, Egypt, Algeria and Morocco. Goiania in Brazil is the twenty city to host Pacha franchise.
