Artists: PRETTY LIGHTS Alex B. (Pnuma) Description Pretty Lights, aka ultra-versatile producer Derek Vincent Smith, is equal parts studio production powerhouse, one-man jam band, and laser light show. Pretty Lights is an live electronic music outfit (Livetronica if you will), but Smith’s propensity for organic on-the-fly song creation and arsenal of soulful loops and beats satiates the tastes of even the most adamant electronicaphobes, wary of impersonal and repetitive pre-programmed software synths. Pretty Lights’ can even be appreciated by the hearing impaired via a special cutting-edge LED light show. Alex B of Pnuma Trio will also be making a special live solo appearance to warm up the night with his jazzy and funky set.
