Description
Humans need to connect. It’s what we do. From fire we made smoke signals and on the internet we’ve built remarkable communication tools to connect with one another.

When connected individuals coalesce around an inspired idea, movements happen.

Today’s tools are most powerful when the movement is authentic—when we build meaningful communities both online and off—and when we recognize our unique relationship with technology while leveraging it to make big things happen.
Communities driven by a common purpose build tribes. Welcome to TribeCon.

October 29 – 30 in New Orleans

Join us for a day of inspiring and educational presentations by world-renowned panelists—all focused around building communities online and offline, and leveraging those communities to accomplish amazing things.

Topics include:
• Amplifying your brand, community, or cause through social media, with tools like Twitter, Facebook and other emerging platforms
• The marriage of strong offline networks and new online technologies
• Lessons learned from timeless human interaction and community building

Experience a day of connection and learning and stick around for a celebration of music over the Halloween weekend in the most soulful city in America.

• Thursday – the conference all day on-site in City Park
• Friday – a morning keynote followed by the Voodoo Experience

Throughout the Voodoo Experience, TribeCon attendees will be invited to blog and post media from the TribeCon lounge.

Connectors and Influencers

The word is out, and people will be traveling from all over the country to TribeCon. Social media evangelists, internet entrepreneurs, musicians seeking a new model, and community activists will all converge to engage in a conversation about community. Learning how to build brands, causes, movements through community activism online.

We will facilitate an enriching and bonding experience for attendees, we will learn from one another as well as the speakers. Ours will be a shared experience.

The audience is powerful because it is connected to people who communicate. Because of the authenticity of attendees, when they share their experience on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, & YouTube, people will listen. We will assemble the influencers.
